Knitting is a spiritual practice and helps the children!
I love knitting. My mother taught me to knit when I was very young and I have always know how to knit. In my 50’s I began to knit again with purpose. I wanted something to focus on as I journeyed through my challenges. Prayer shawls are very welcomed by those struggling with grief. My grief and struggle welcomed my knitting projects. It soothes my soul.

These sweaters and blankets are made primarily out of acrylic yarn. It is washable and easily dried in the dryer. They are meant to be worn and laundered. I can also knit to order should it be a blanket or something that is not fitted. Please reach out to me anytime if you have any questions or want any of the items.

When I knit I do so for love. Knitting is not something one can “market” because if the hours spent knitting were to be tallied these items would be hundreds of dollars. I knit because I love to knit. That said when I knit I give away the items with a donation to my favourite charity, Help Bolivia Foundation. This grass roots charity is near and dear to my heart and I am happy to help out in any way I can. Please, if you want a knitted item, simply ask and it’s yours after you donate to the charity.
